An A-line gown with a V-neck will accentuate your bust line while hiding any imperfections in the thigh and bottom area. Look for smooth, lightweight fabrics like chiffon, silk, or light satins.

• For those with a pear shape (fuller hips), off-the-shoulder straps create a great horizontal line at shoulder level, balancing out your thighs and making your waist look smaller.
